Good morning all. Well the sailfish, marlin and dorado are here. Daily catches for the last two weeks.We have a tour for tomorrow so I’ll post an updated report next week. weather is fine not much wind but some spotty rain. The water has cleaned up from the storm 4 weeks ago, so the bite is on again. As I have been saying for the last 2 1/2 years Nicaragua is the newest sport fishery for marlin and here we have resident marlin that are big. the biggest this season was about 700lbs. Sailfish are also here all year round. the biggest this season was in the 160lb class. I did raise a huge black marlin in the 900 to 1000lb class but no luck in getting it to take a bait ( i guess that’s why he is so big, smart fish). I not sure how much of the world knows yet that this type of fishery exists in Nicaragua, but it does!Marlin,sailfish and big dorado( mahi mahi) are caught here ion a regular basis.We offer a Custom 36ft Hatteras fully loaded for offshore sport fishing.
