Deep sea fishing has arrived in Nicaragua. Next month will be the start of our 5th year here offering a true off shore Custom Sport-fishing adventures. Our 36ft Custom Hatteras fully equipped. Sea fishing is what we do hunting and chasing down marlin and sailfish. We have also hooked and landed some pretty big Dorado( up to 65+lbs.). San Juan Del Sur, Nicaragua is a new sport fishery for pacific coast of Central America for Marlin and Sailfish. No one has ever professionally targeted marlin here before. In the last few years that we have been fishing , I have come to the conclusion that the fish we are catching are resident fish.We have raised and hooked marlin on almost every trip throughout the year.Telling me that these are not migratory fish.. About 2 months ago we saw a BIG BLACK MARLIN in the 900 to 1000lb class. He didn’t bite, but maybe this year, as i know where he hangs out. There are also other species here such as, pargo, sierra mackerel, Jacks, barracuda, grouper , etc. We try to concentrate our efforts on Bill Fish, but on days when we can’t get offshore, we troll for inshore species. we also offer beach tours, party tours, whale and dolphin watching ( there are 2 families of whales here now).
