This past year has been a banner year for us as we have raised at least one bill fish on every trip except for two.The fish we target are here all year round. This fishery has never been touched before.So I believe these are resident fish.There are many “panga” style boat that fish the inshore species here but only one ” La Chata”, the pride of the fleet here in San Juan. We run Twin Caterpillar diesels offering safety and comfort for our clients.We have New Garmin electronics, Lee fighting Chair, Lee Outriggers, Custom Rods, ship to shore radios, chirp sonar, Large air conditioned salon, Full Bath and more. Fishing for big Marlin is an art.

We have custom Teasers and proven colors that work here in Nicaragua. We have spent the last year refining the colors that work here to raise the big boys. The smallest Blue Marlin we caught this year was about 400lbs. The Largest Blue Marlin was about 650lbs. Three weeks ago we raised a Black Marlin in the 900-1000lb class.Caught Sailfish up to 170lbs. Mahi up to 60-70 lbs ( had one over 80lbs but got away).Nicaragua is a safe friendly country welcoming travelers from all over the globe.
