Well Marlin madness is here.Big marlin everyday.We went out last Tuesday and landed a 700lbs+ blue marlin aboard La Chata the premier charter service located in san juan del sur, nicaragua. Fishing season is in full swing here in Nicaragua. The fishing report for the last two weeks has been good.

Marlin almost every day, Big Sail Fish, lots of Dorado mixed in. We offer a Custom 36ft Hatteras Sport fishing vessel. Fully equipped for your offshore adventure.On one day we raised two Marlin, 4 Sailfish, and 4 dorado. The biggest Sail was in the 140-150lbs class. Nicaragua has never before been know for marlin fishing. But we here at bigfishtours.net have now opened this abundant fishery. We have just celebrated our 3rd year here in Nicaragua.When we first got here we had no idea of what the fishery would be. But now we know! Big Marlin, Big Sailfish, and Big Dorado. There is not a big commercial fishery here in Nicaragua so the pressure on the fish is low. Which gives us a great advantage to hunt down and catch these majestic beauties. We only do catch and release on all bill fish here in Nicaragua. But a nice dorado makes for good sushi aboard our Custom 36ft Hatteras sport-fishing Vessel.
