Latest fishing report from big fish tours the premier offshore deep sea charter tour company located here in San Juan Del Sur. Nicaragua. We have had 5 Full days of rain that finally cleared out Friday. We had a full day fishing charter Saturday with 4 clients. Winds were down and shifted offshore. Blue water was close conditions looked good. The moon is phasing now. We left the dock at 6am and headed out. Saw a few birds working so we started our troll. Trawling for 3 hours and not a fish in sight. We kept changing up our gear, but still no takers. There were two other private fishing yachts working the same grounds ( weekend fisherman)I was a little perplexed as we have been on the fish for the last 4 weeks consistently and today nothing.. humm.. we kept working our arsenal and finally raised and hooked a sailfish.After 5 hours we moved inshore to see if we could get the clients some dinner.
