Big Fish Tours is the one and only professional sport fishing charter boat in all of Nicaragua. We offer a 36ft Hatteras sport fishing boat. big fish are what we target. Marlin,sailfish,dorado and more. We are celebrating our 3rd season here in Nicaragua. We only use top quality rods and reels, lee fighting chair,lee outriggers, custom teasers, fresh bait. We use teasers to raise the fish then bait and switch to hook them. Our biggest blue marlin to date was about 700lbs caught about a 1 1/2 months ago. The largest sailfish to date was in the 160lb class. The largest Dorado was about 65-70lbs.The fish here stay all year round. These are not migratory fish. The reason they don’t leave is because there is bait here all the time. There is really no pressure on this fish population as we practice catch and release on all bill fish. The only month that is sometimes hard to fish is October as we have some days with winds. But it’s a day to day situation.
